I just finished Code Geass (both seasons). Mind Blowing! I watch a hell of a lot of anime (nerd/otaku power!) but its pretty rare for me to watch an anime that I literally can't switch off. Code Geass turned out to be in that category.
I have 3 animation pieces due, as well as my midsemester Japanese exams (I'm submajoring in Japanese now) in a few days and I was gonna just watch an episode or two here and there. 2 days later and I've finished the series. All I've gotten done is managed to learn 8 new kanji (of the 40 more I need to know for my exam). Not good.

..
.
Anyway, the moral of this story is: Don't start watching Code Geass unless you're fully prepared to be glued to a screen for about 20 hours straight.
It's that good.
